400 Episodes Later: American Dad! Showrunner Matt Weitzman Reflects on the Popular Show’s Big Milestone

This September, FOX’s long-running animated series American Dad! celebrates a major milestone, as it premieres its 400th episode (premiering September 13, followed by the season finale). The show, which was created by Seth MacFarlane, Mike Barker and Matt Weitzman, first debuted in February of 2005. Fans all over the world soon warmed up to the weekly shenanigans of the dysfunctional Smith family, their goldfish Klaus and the strange grey alien Roger who shares their home.
