New Drama Series Future Housewives, Starring Ariana Madix, In Development At Peacock

Ariana Madix is taking reality TV to new heights. Future Housewives, a new drama series starring Madix, written by Brannon Braga and executive produced by Braga and Seth MacFarlane, is now in development at Peacock.

Set in the decadent asteroid colony of New Beverly Hills, the series follows wealthy socialites juggling bioengineered beauty regimens, ruthless rivalries and interplanetary scandals. When a young, starry-eyed outsider unexpectedly upends their glamorous world, it exposes just how far they’ve drifted out of touch in a society evolving beyond superficiality. The result is a sharply satirical yet surprisingly heartfelt reinvention of reality TV.

Braga, who previously partnered with MacFarlane on The Orville, writes and executive produces. Madix executive produces through her company, Over Fences, alongside MacFarlane and Erica Huggins for Fuzzy Door, with Jaron Lanier serving as co-executive producer. Future Housewives comes from Universal Global Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, with Fuzzy Door and Over Fences producing.
