Liam Neeson’s ‘The Naked Gun’ Is Firing on All Cylinders With a Huge Debut Rotten Tomatoes Score

To many, The Naked Gun trilogy is untouchable. It's a perfectly wrapped example of an era of comedy still beloved to this day, and to try and fashion a modern-day example would likely leave any budding creator with egg on their face. Leslie Nielsen's iconic Frank Drebin is one of comedy's best characters, and there is surely no one who can fill those shoes. Step forward the ever-brilliant Liam Neeson, one of the most underrated funny men in cinema, in addition to being a talented actor in his own right. Add that to the talents of director Akiva Schaffer, producer Seth MacFarlane, and more, and it seems the improbable has been achieved.
