Seth MacFarlane Set To Receive Maverick Award At 2026 Newport Beach TV Fest

Seth MacFarlane, the prolific creator of film and TV comedies who is currently in Emmy contention for his Peacock series Ted, will be presented with the Newport Beach TV Fest’s Maverick Award on Sunday, June 7.

The festivities will be held at Newport Beach’s Lido Theater and will include a live recording of The Hollywood Reporter’s Awards Chatter podcast, during which MacFarlane will discuss his life, career and portfolio of ongoing TV series, which includes not only Ted but also Family Guy, American Dad!, The Orville, and The ’Burbs.
