5x Grammy®-Nominated Artist Seth MacFarlane Announces New Album, Seth MacFarlane Sings The Muppets, Out September 18th

Award-winning entertainer Seth MacFarlane today announced his new studio album, Seth MacFarlane Sings The Muppets, arriving September 18th via Verve Records / Republic Records. Available for pre-order now, the collection reimagines songs from Sesame Street, The Muppet Show, and the classic Muppet films through lush orchestral arrangements inspired by the classic era of vocal jazz. MacFarlane has also released the album's first single, Kermit's enduring anthem "Bein' Green." 

The 14-track album draws from the rich musical legacy of Jim Henson's creations. Most of the selections come from the first three Muppet feature films—The Muppet Movie, The Great Muppet Caper, and The Muppets Take Manhattan—while favorites from Sesame Street and The Muppet Show round out the program. From graceful waltzes and wistful ballads to exuberant Broadway showstoppers, MacFarlane makes each selection his own while preserving the spirit that has made these songs resonate across generations.
